Magic
Mist Bonsai In Blue
AMHA/AMHR 2003, DOB February 15
"Bonnie,"
as we call her, is a very charismatic mare. She comes running when I
call her name, and follows me around like a puppy. When she was born,
she looked solid black, with just a tiny hint of white on her rump,
but when she was clipped, wow, a huge white blanket and spots all over
her body! My kind of surprise!

Magic
Mist Mirage
AMHR/AMHA 1998 34" |
|
 |
Out of Wild Winds Frost Fire, by Fishers
Cisco Kid, Mirage is everything that I had hoped for: loud color, conformation,
gorgeous head, great trot, and a sweetheart. She placed very well the one
year that we showed her, now she is in the broodmare band and is reliably
producing quality foals just as her dam does. See her 2003 filly, Magic
Mist Bonsai In Blue, below. See Mirage's page for more info and pics. |

Eldorados
Bonsai Cast In Bronze
AMHA/AMHR 1999 30" |
|
 |
Son of Little Kings Buckeroo Bonsai, National Grand Champion and
National Reserve Grand Champion stallion. Bronze is a golden palomino with
lots of attitude, yet easy to handle. At 2002 AMHR Nationals, Bronze placed
third in his halter class, and fourth in the Futurity, with heavy competition.
He has numerous Grands in Halter, and even Supremes. A frequent winner of
Liberty classes, he has a very nice, tail flagging trot that he passes on
to his foals, who are gorgeous, and doing great in the show ring.
See Bronze's page for more pictures. |

Magic Mist Sassafrass
Born April 27, 2010 |
|
|
Out of Magic Mist Treasure of Bonsai and by Jandt's Precious Pimples ("Cowboy"), this double dilute blanketed appy filly is tiny, refined, and beautiful, practically perfect in every way--- except that she was apparently born blind. At first her eyelids were turned under and her eyelashes were rubbinig her eyes, causing ulcerated corneas and we thought perhaps her lack of vision was from that, but as she's been treated for it her vision hasn't improved. She's an absolute doll and the veterinarian and the vet techs are all in love with her, and laugh at her sweet yet fiery actions. She has a fierce determination to live and thrive. The fact that this filly is all that I've been striving for in my breeding program and yet tragically flawed causes me a deep sorrow, and yet looking at this darling, tough little baby who won't let anything get her down also is an inspiration and makes me smile. |
